Ranting about People
Recently I have been feeling fed up with certain groups of people. The ones that come to mind today are:
1. People who tell me that they hate Thai or Indian food and they have never tried either. Shows a complete lack of curiousity!
2. People who talk on their cell phone while I am in the car with them. What am I? Chopped liver?
3. People who read their blackberries or Iphones whle I am talking to them - and they don't even excuse themselves! Do they think I am blind?
4. People who are plaing games or emailing while speaking with me on the phone - and I can tell due to the long pauses. And you think I can't hear the click clack of their fingernails on the keyboard. Just rude!!!
5. People who invite me over to eat and heat up frozen appetizers or dinners! I'd rather eat at home! At least I can cook!
6. People who tell me that every store, restaurant, movie, play, concert is THE BEST EVER ! Better than anything else??? Better than anything I have ever experienced? Does that negate everything I've ever done?
7. People who complain about spending money as in "Oh I'm going crazy! I can't decide if I want granite or marble countertops!" Try that complaint on someone from Haiti or Pakistan!
8. People who are always always late. That's why I carry a book wherever I go!
9.People who only dress in black. Boring! And depressing! Even if black makes you look thinner!!!
10. People who say," Throw out all the bums in office! I am only going to vote for people who have never been elected before!" Two friends have actually said this to me in the last week. Smacks of Sarah Palinism. And both of these people listen to Talk Radio. Cup of Tea, anyone?????
Real Estate Hint- Try to be understanding once in awhile to your real estate broker who goes away for the weekend and won't be able to receive cell phone nor internet connection. Be kind as long as it doesn't happen too often. Realtors can't be available 24/7 365 days of the year!!!!!
