The Most Beaitiful Jacket in the World

I now own the most beautiful jacket in the world! Yes, the most beautiful!!!  It has long sleeves that hit my wrists at just the right point, frog closings that make the front hang perfectly, and the length stops right at my waist which is great because I am short.  The jacket is made of an assortment of beautiful fabrics  with colors that flow from one to the other - black, gold, green, coral.  The combination of fabrics is gorgeous - from the elegant black and gold to the whimsical flying geese.   Even the interior has beautiful designs sewn into it.  The jacket is truly a work of art!

The beauty of this jacket goes even deeper than its design, color and superior construction.  It was made for me by my closest friend, Pat.  Pat is an unbelievable quilter and seamstress.  She has a talent that is unfathomable to me.  She cuts and measures and sews and produces the most beautiful quilts and clothes.  My jacket was the outcome of a class that Pat attended to perfect her jacket-making skills.   Pat chose my jacket as her coursework.

To begin, Pat asked me to help her pick the fabrics from the huge supply she has on hand.  She also had to measure me before she could start her work  And once she asked me to visit her class so her teacher could help with the fitting. That's all I did.  When the class ended, Pat handed over the jacket to me.

I didn't ask for the jacket, I didn't pay for the jacket.  I am just the lucky person who received the jacket. I am  just the lucky person who has Pat for a friend.  I love the jacket and I love Pat.  I am a lucky, lucky person!  It truly is the most beautiful jacket in the world!!!!  Thank you, Pat!!!

Real Estate Hint - It is amazing the secrets that people share with their Realtors.  We must be up there with hairdressers and manicurists!  We are often the first to hear about a divorce, illness in the family, job change, financial difficulty, pregnancy, windfall profit.  My customers often swear me to secrecy which I take very seriously.  The sale or purchase of a new home usually is the result of a lifechanging event so it is understandable that the realtor needs to know the motive of the customer - even if noone else does - yet!
