The Writer's Stone

Fascinated by crystals and stones am I.  And having just finished a medieval/paranormal romance short story collection that included plenty of magic, and magic crystals, I'm ready to believe in these stones' powers.  I've worn hematite to ward off depression, kept crystals near my desk to enhance communication as I write, and have several pieces of rose quartz jewelry, rose quartz hearts are a particular favorite, to keep loving feelings around.

Now I've discovered my new stone:  Natrolite.  According to The Book of Stones by Robert Simmons and Naisha Ahsian, Natrolite prevents negative influences from entering one's field. "Natrolite is a stone of optimism and hope.  It assists one in seeing what is possible - the best-case scenario for oneself and the world.  It helps one have faith in one self and in the future."    This I want, all of it.  Shall we nickname this white crystal the writer's stone?  Negatives, goodbye.  Faith in one's self, hello.  Internet shopping, here I come.
